Sorry this is so big. You’ll probably have to enlarge and zoom. Being an impulsive trailblazer means that I don’t consider these things until the last minute. Hopefully Sony will see the funny side and send me a free home cinema kit. Do you know, I often look at other brands but find myself returning to Sony again and again because they’re so wonderfully reliable and pleasant to deal with. I don’t have a PS3 either. Lovely people, Sony.

I don’t really have any right to do a review of the year. I started 2008 by declaring it my Year of Music and vowing to listen to more albums than ever before. It started well but petered out by June. For that reason there are almost certainly a number of gems that I’ve missed off simply because I’ve been too lazy/busy/unaware to listen to them. Still, what’s a blog for if not inflicting one’s views on its readers?
Again, in true interactive style, feel free to nominate your own favourite albums. I’m always on the lookout for a good musical tip.

December 22, 2008I’m a bit sad about Woolworths’ demise even though I rarely bought anything from them. The original of this receipt is from February and seems to be the last time that I shopped there (I keep all my receipts going back about 13 years so I’m pretty sure).
I’ve realised, somewhat surprisingly, that I seem to enjoy Photoshopping receipts and tickets more than anything else. If they weren’t so cripplingly dull I’d probably be happy doing that for the remaining 282 posts.
Hi girls.
